Creating a Video Conferencing Culture
Video conferencing technology has been in many enterprise companies for years if not two decades or more, however many of said companies are not getting value out of the service because members of staff simply do not use it as much as they should; or as well as they should. There is therefore a lot of expensive technology not returning the ROI that it should be. Stakeholders of course are not happy with this, so how can it be made to be ubiquitous?
There are likely many reasons for the staff not using the video conferencing, from things such as previous bad experience, poor quality and incompatible devices to others such as it being too complicated, no signal to use it when offsite and not enough meeting rooms onsite. Whatever the reason, the advances of video conferencing technology means that they can all now be addressed.
