Videocall is a leading service provider and systems integrator of on-premise and cloud based video collaboration.
Meet Rob
They say people buy from people, so here is a little bit about me.
I founded Videocall in 1997 having been a missionary of video collaboration since being an early customer way back in 1993. I have personally seen many times the transformative effect it can have on business outcomes, and the positive effect it can have on people’s lives.
I am a father of two boys (one a young man now), and also a keen golfer and sailor in my spare time, so seeing the impact of technology on the younger generations as they become tomorrow’s workforce, and being able to work from anywhere rings true to my own needs as well as the employees of the companies we support.

I started my career as a mechanical engineer, studying at SKCT and later INSEAD, working on capital projects such as Heathrow T4, Gatwick North, Earls Court, Alexander Palace and Olympia, before moving into the telecommunications and cable television infrastructure field in 1988 in the UK, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Hungary, Norway, Sweden, France, Malta and Israel.
In 1994 I joined Alcatel with responsibility for two of their businesses, one of which was video conferencing for Northern Europe, which was my first introduction to the technology as a business tool.
Today, I am very proud of the culture, team and long standing customer relationships that we have built at Videocall over the years, and look forward to us having the opportunity to continue earning the right to be selected by our customers to be their partner of choice in the many years to come.
Corporate Social Responsibility
We are committed to not just our Corporate Social Responsibility, but by the nature of our business, to also help our customers transform the way they do business by maximising productivity and resources.
Supporting Charities
Videocall is a proud supporter of Macmillan Cancer Support. As part of our customer service programme we conduct quarterly satisfaction surveys. For every survey completed we make a financial donation to Macmillan.
Lowering Our Carbon Footprint
At Videocall, we use our own video conferencing solutions extensively throughout the whole organisation and it’s the way we most regularly meet with our customers and business partners.
Using these solutions internally and externally we are able to reduce the impact of conducting our own business on the environment and we also like to believe this helps to improve the work/life balance of our staff, partners, suppliers and customers.
By its very nature, video conferencing can help companies to address legal directives as well as their own environmental challenges. In addition to the commonly known business benefits, video conferencing solutions also contribute to personal and environmental benefits.
Whatever the location, individuals can still meet and collaborate via video, significantly reducing travel time and improving personal productivity. It also helps to reduce the carbon footprint.
In addition, as part of the EU Environmental Directives, Videocall reduces the impact of the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment once it reaches its 'end of life' by collecting and recycling customer equipment.
Fair and Flexible Employment
As a video conferencing company we have the ability to let employees work away from the office, yet still connect face to face for meetings. This can have a massive influence on work/life balance for all members of staff.
As a company Videocall ensure that we recruit on merit and that the process is free from bias and discrimination in accordance to The Equality Act 2010.
Partners
Videocall is manufacturer agnostic. We will help you to select the best technology and solutions to suit your needs and budget. Having said that, we are continually working to be at the leading edge of technical knowledge with all our partners and maintain the highest levels of accreditation with each of them:

Founded in 1975, Microsoft is the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions that help people and businesses realise their full potential. Microsoft Skype for Business (formerly Microsoft Lync™) opens up a wealth of opportunity to deliver real business productivity benefits, by giving users a choice of communication methods accessible at any time, on any device.
In 2013 Videocall launched Skype for Business integration services, allowing companies to utilise Skype for Business effectively enterprise-wide as part of a pervasive video solution. This includes Skype for Business consultancy, project management and deployment of video enabled Skype for Business across your organisation.

Until a few years ago video conferencing solutions were built on costly hardware systems that were rigid, hard to scale and resource-heavy, and therefore often restricted to use by top management in large companies.
The founders of Pexip foresaw that there would be a movement in video conferencing from hardware to software and from software to cloud, and knew that with the right engineering and application, we could develop a platform to help enterprises benefit from these transitions. We have always believed that video conferencing should be democratized – that everyone in an organization should have access to communication tools that enable them to simply do what they need to do: meet.
The concept of solutions being driven to address specific customer challenges has been with Cisco since its inception. Husband and wife Len Bosack and Sandy Lerner, both working for Stanford University, wanted to email each other from their respective offices located in different buildings but were unable to due to technological shortcomings. Since then Cisco has shaped the future of the internet by creating unprecedented value and opportunity for our customers, employees, investors and ecosystem partners and has become the worldwide leader in networking - transforming how people connect, communicate and collaborate.
Videocall has been a Cisco ATP partner since 2010 when Cisco purchased Tandberg and entered the video conferencing arena. With Videocall’s agnostic approach with vendor technology, we are fully certified and able to utilise Cisco technology, both new and already existing within your workplace.

Poly helps organisations unleash the power of human collaboration. More than 400,000 companies and institutions worldwide defy distance with video, voice and content solutions from Poly. Following a strong relationship for many years, Videocall became a platinum partner of Poly in 2009. In 2010 Videocall became Poly’s European Unified Communication partner of the year, highlighting the fantastic synergy between both companies, which is growing stronger every year.
Founded in 2001 Masergy now owns and operates the largest independent Software Defined Platform in the world, delivering hybrid networking, managed security and cloud communication solutions to global enterprises.
